Physiotherapists are licensed health care professionals who work autonomously and collaboratively alongside physicians and health care teams. With a patient-centred approach, physiotherapists use evidence informed knowledge of rehabilitation sciences, anatomy, kinesiology and physiology to assess, treat, and manage pain, injuries, movement dysfunction and chronic conditions. The goal of physiotherapy is to empower, promote independence and improve the quality of life for people across all ages and abilities.

Riley O’Connor BScKin, is a registered Kinesiologist. He is an active, empathetic listener who uses an evidence-based approach that integrates the best available research, patient values, and clinical experience. He emphasizes patient education, exercise prescription, manual therapy, and behaviour and lifestyle changes in his treatments.

Riley completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2016. He has experience as an Kinesiologist, Athletic Trainer for local and collegiate athletes, ICBC claimants, and a professional training coach for the general population.

Riley lives in Maple Ridge and enjoys sports and fitness, making music, and reading.

Dakota is a registered physiotherapist practicing in the field of sport medicine, orthopaedics, occupational and post-MVA rehabilitation. Dakota earned a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University in 2021 and a Bachelor of Kinesiology & Health Science from the University of British Columbia in 2018. He is certified in Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS), is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and has advanced training in running assessment and rehabilitation (Running Repairs Clinical Edge).

Dakota has experience working with many populations. These include high-performance athletes, (BC Rugby, UBC Varsity Athletics, U Sports, CSSHL), post-surgical patients (ACL-reconstruction, Achilles repair, shoulder/knee arthroscopy), seniors and the general population. He uses an evidenced based approach, prioritizing the integration of the best available research with individual patient values and preferences. His treatments include education, exercise prescription, manual/manipulative therapy, IMS (dry needling), taping, and running assessment.

Dakota places a strong emphasis on listening to his patients, understanding their goals and getting them to where they want to be.

During his spare time, he enjoys running, cycling, snowboarding, basketball and golf.

Brad Marshall BPE, BSc.PT, MCPA, has specialized in the areas of sports medicine, orthopaedics, and industrial rehabilitation since 1993. He is a member of Sport Physiotherapy Canada and currently operates two physiotherapy clinics in B.C. His client list includes numerous professional and high-performance athletes as well as the general public. Brad’s client centered treatment approach is very “hands-on” with a strong emphasis on education. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Brad completed his graduate studies in Sport Psychology and competed internationally in Track and Field.
